Cambridge Financial Services, LC, was formed in May of 2002 by J. Thomas Barbour, Jeffery L. Pavan and Richard W. Pifer. Each of the three members of the company shares equally in its ownership.
Barbour and Pifer have been partners since 1982 in various partnerships and corporations dealing with real estate acquisition, real estate development, real estate management and real estate financing. Pavan has been in various aspects of commercial banking since 1982.

J. Thomas Barbour (Tom), Owner has held a real estate brokers license for over 40 years and he
was a founder and former owner of Panorama Realty, a real estate brokerage business in
Luray, Virginia. He has a strong background in real estate finance, residential development and
investment real estate. He and Pifer have purchased, developed and managed properties
both for themselves and for others for the last 22 years. Tom has been purchasing mortgage
notes since the early 1970's. He resides in Luray, Virginia. |

Jeffery L. Pavan (Jeff), Owner
owns Multi-State Investment Properties, Inc., a real estate investment
company with multiple properties. From 1982 to 1986, he was a branch manager for ITT
Financial, servicing over 250 loans. He has since held banking positions of import with
First National Bank of Romney, United Companies Lending Corporation, and South Branch
Valley National Bank. He has had experience
with these banking companies in positions ranging from Compliance Officer to Vice President
of Loan Administration to area supervisor and manager for six branches. Jeff makes his
home in Moorefield, West Virginia. |

Richard W. Pifer (Richie), Owner has held a Virginia Real Estate Broker's license for more than 25
years. He has a strong background in construction and commercial development. He and
Barbour have been partners for more than 22 years and, together they have purchased
investment real estate, developed residential properties, managed investment real estate
and formed Cambridge Corporation, a professional handyman, design-build construction
firm. Pifer and Barbour have been purchasing real estate mortgages since their original
partnership in 1982. Richie lives in Winchester, Virginia. |

Matthew T. Barbour (Matt), Chief Operating Officer has held
a Virginia Real Estate Salesperson’s license since 1997. He
formerly held positions as Property Manager, Office Manager, and Chief
Financial Officer for Cambridge Corporation. Cambridge specialized in
residential and commercial property management, construction and
remodeling, real estate brokerage, and also provided professional
handyman services. Matt lives with his wife Kristin in Winchester,
Virginia. |
