Here’s how it works.
Cambridge is a licensed lender with headquarters in Winchester, Virginia. Our owners have extensive backgrounds in real estate, banking and finance. The Company lends money to individuals and secures these loans with first deed of trusts or mortgages backed by real estate. We are conservative lenders. Our general guideline is to loan no more than 65% of the value of the property. We then use the investors’ money to fund these loans. We find, close and service the loans which we maintain in our company portfolio. Investors get a promissory note from Cambridge, essentially backed with trust notes against real estate. This note provides for monthly interest payments for periods usually ranging from 1 to 3 years.
